Maths
Maths is usually the subject students struggle with most at school mainly due to the lack of individual help during lessons. Students often don’t ask for help when faced with a topic they find hard and so they develop gaps in their learning, which in itself become problematic later on. In my opinion the first objective of private tutoring in maths should be to systematically deal with those gaps, which are usually identified within the first couple of lessons. Once the gaps are covered, we can then proceed to cover the necessary course material based on individual requirements.
